My Story

Thank you for visiting my Enthuse online fundraising page!

On Thursday 18th June 2026, I am taking on the Croke Park Abseil in aid of Cancer Fund for Children to help raise vital funds and ensure that no child has to face cancer alone.

Every month across the island of Ireland, up to another 40 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer. Beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs rebuilt.

Cancer Fund for Children are there to provide practical and emotional support in family homes in every province across Ireland and on the hospital wards in Dublin and Belfast. They also offer free stays at their therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge, in Newcastle, Co. Down. Construction of their second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo is currently underway with the doors set to open in early Spring 2027. This second Daisy Lodge will allow the charity to almost double the number of families we can support with a short break.

This vital support in the community, in the hospital and at Daisy Lodge simply isn't possible without people like you and me by their side. Every euro raised can make an incredible difference. Anything you might be able to donate, small or large, would be most sincerely appreciated 💛
